The Russian Federation has revised eligible production dates for 17 U.S. poultry processing plants listed as eligible to export product to that country, the USA Poultry and Egg Export Council (USAPEEC) told Meatingplace.

Among those companies were Pilgrim’s Pride, Tyson Foods, Mountaire Farms, Peco Foods and Sanderson Farms. To view the revisions, click here

Russia recently completed an audit of 33 U.S. poultry processing facilities to see that they were complying with a new export agreement that allows alternative pathogen reduction treatments to chlorine. FSIS expects to hear from Russian authorities about the status of those plants soon, USAPEEC said.
