Study finds no link between red meat and prostate cancer

There is no association between eating red or processed meat and developing prostate cancer, according to a new analysis of existing research published in Nutrition Journal.


Researchers also found no association between high red meat consumption and advanced prostate cancer.
This conclusion comes from a meta-analysis of large-scale prospective studies of meat consumption and cancer incidence from the last decade. Researchers led by Dominik Alexander of Exponent Health Sciences Practice analyzed a total of 26 studies.
