Greenhouse production training

The NC Commercial Flower Growers Association is sponsoring a greenhouse production track on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Green and Growin' Show in Greensboro, NC.  The classes are held at the Sheraton Four Seasons hotel, exit 217 off of Business Interstate 40.  

Each of the classes has pesticide recertification credit, so you can obtain 6 hours.

You can either register at the door or pre-register at www.ncnla.com.  The cost of the program is $50.  There are actually 8 different educational tracks on Wednesday.  You can move among any of the classes.  See listing at www.ncnla.com.

Insect and mite pests can develop resistance to pesticides very rapidly in greenhouses.  In addition, resistant pests can arrive in your greenhouse    onplant material from other facilities. Practical advice on how to reduce   development of insecticide resistance and manage resistant pests.
