Mexico will not rotate its list of U.S. products subject to punitive tariffs while the two countries discuss a proposal to allow Mexican trucks on U.S. roads, Reuters reports.

The existing list of products, which includes U.S. pork, will remain unchanged until the two parties reach an accord.

The tariffs have resulted in an estimated $2 billion in commercial losses, U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk said.

The move comes as the two sides discuss an initiative the U.S. proposed last week, which would allow Mexican trucks to drive into the interior of the country.
