ANNUAL MEETING:

As a reminder the annual membership meeting will occur on Friday, February 4, 2011.  It begins at 10:00 am at the Governor Holshouser Building on the NC State Fairgrounds.  It is once again held in conjunction with the Southern Farm Show.  Lunch will be served following the keynote presentations.  Among the special topics and speakers this year: we will focus on export opportunities including recent activities surrounding emerging markets in China.  Commissioner Troxler will speak to us about NC agriculture, Blake Brown will offer a Global Economic Analysis.  We are pending confirmation  from another marketing expert who may give a tandem presentation with Dr. Brown.  President Craig West will offer a growers perspective.  There are many critical issues happening and our meeting will be timely to address these subjects.
