Risk Mitigation Measures Regional Workshops will be held at the following locations: Wilson County Agricultural Center, January 26, 2011 from 9:00 am – 4:15 pm OR Iredell County Cooperative Extension, January 31, 2011 from 9:00 am – 4:15 pm. The workshops will: 1) provide information on re-eligibility decisions (REDs) for soil fumigants from the Environmental Protection Agency and implementation schedule/requirements for risk mitigation measures (RMMs); 2) provide information on resources available to assist growers in complying with RMMs; and 3)provide feedback to state-level soil fumigant workgroup re: local and regional resources needed and/or available to assist growers in complying with RMMs.  RSVP by January 19th for Wilson County and by January 24th for Iredell County.
