IRS offers VISA debit cards for 2010 tax refunds

The Treasury Department recently launched a pilot program that will give thousands of Americans the option to receive their 2010 tax refunds on a prepaid debit card instead of through a traditional paper check.  For those low-income taxpayers that don’t have bank accounts, a VISA prepaid debit card provides faster delivery of their Federal tax refund.
