WBSCM corporate vendor administrator survey
Story Date: 2/8/2011

  Source:USDA, 2/7/11

FSA has been involved with the development of USDA's Web Based Supply Chain Management System (WBSCM). WBSCM has been in production since June 30, 2010, utilizing limited functionality with small groups of users. On December 1, 2010, the use of WBSCM was expanded to domestic program recipients, including State and local agency users. Over the next several months, those recipients have and will place orders in WBSCM for the upcoming delivery year (July 2011-June 2012). Those orders will be available for FSA to purchase in late March or early April.

On February 1, 2011, additional functionality went into production with final functionality expected to be implemented on April 1, 2011.  At that time orders for food assistance programs will be available for FSA procurements, so all FSA vendors need to have access to WBSCM prior to this time.

FSA plans to provide vendor access to WBSCM towards the end of February 2011. In order to provide this access, USDA needs the contact information for the creation of a Corporate Administrator role for all approved suppliers (vendors):

The Corporate Vendor Administrator role has a large amount of responsibility and power in WBSCM. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the company's corporate structure in WBSCM, which includes the maintenance of users, plants, shipping points, and other administrative duties.

Please click on the following link to complete the online Corporate Vendor Administrator form www.surveymonkey.com/s/VendorAdmin.  Once we have received the information, those users will be set-up in WBSCM and receive a WBSCM registration email shortly after February 28, 2011.
In order to complete this process, FSA needs to have the information as soon as possible but no later than by the close of business on February 14, 2011. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact any of the following.
