Join us to learn how to implement AgBiotech opportunities on your farm. Please register by Feb 17th at www.ncbiotech.org/AgBiotechFarmer. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. The Entrepreneurial Farmer program is designed as a two day workshop to increase financial, business development,and entrepreneurial skills in the area of agricultural biotechnology. Some of the areas we will discuss include: Partnering models of production and marketing to create local opportunities; In depth look at contract growing a value-added product; Risk management – Production, financing, and markets. The program will feature panel discussions, interactive sessions, and a look at how Northeastern North Carolina has been preparing for the future of AgBiotech.
