The North Carolina Vegetation Management Association (NCVMA) has doubled its scholarship endowment in the N.C. Agricultural Foundation Inc. to provide annual merit-based scholarships to at least two N.C. State students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Natural Resources. Rob Richardson, outgoing NCVMA president, and Matt Lynch, incoming president, presented a check to Chris Wessel of CALS Advancement at the association’s annual meeting in Raleigh this past December.

The NCVMA is a fellowship of those interested and engaged in vegetation management in North Carolina. Its intent is to collect, discuss and disseminate accurate and state-of-the-art information regarding vegetation management, with an objective to provide individuals the tools necessary to make prudent and knowledgeable decisions in managing vegetation.
