Piedmont Food & Agricultural Processing Center Interest Meeting

The Piedmont Food & Agricultural Processing Center, located in Hillsborough, will provide commercial kitchen facilities, processing equipment, and resources for food entrepreneurs, local farmers, and small businesses producing jams and jellies, baked goods, candies, frozen produce, and other value-added products. Production rooms, storage areas, and office space will be available for rent by the hour, week, and month. A representative of the facility will speak about opportunities available for Piedmont farmers and other producers of value-added products at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, at the Cooperative Extension office in Asheboro (112 W.
