McIntyre to host job creation summit March 29

U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre will be hosting a Job Creation Summit on March 29th from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. @ Cape Fear Community College.  The focus of this event will be to discuss how Southeastern North Carolina can best position itself to be on the forefront of securing jobs, developing a workforce, and keeping our region moving forward.


Congressman McIntyre stated, “This strategic forum will allow us to come together and work for a better tomorrow.  I encourage anyone who has an interest in job creation to join us to share ideas and help us shape the future of Southeastern North Carolina.”

Joining the Congressman at this event will be officials from the U.S. Departments of Commerce and Labor, the Economic Development Administration, the North Carolina Department of Commerce, and the Base Closure Realignment Commission (BRAC).

The event is free and open to the public and will take place at Cape Fear Community College’s north campus located at 4500 Blue Clay Road in Castle Hayne.
