A number of food groups have joined forces to form the Alliance to Feed the Future, whose aim is to promote the benefits of modern food production, processing and technology.
The organization's mission is “to multiply the impact of separate efforts that build understanding of food production and technology issues among key stakeholders to balance the public dialogue on modern agriculture and large-scale food production.”
Its 52 members include professional societies, commodity groups, industry and academia. Among participants are the American Meat Institute, National Chicken Council, National Livestock Producers Association and National Turkey Federation.
