Controversial immigration enforcement program goes statewide in North Carolina

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced last week that all 100 counties in North Carolina have been connected to the Secure Communities program. That makes North Carolina the 10th state to implement the program statewide, along with the border states of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, California and Florida.
