The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association said its 2012 International Poultry Exposition is moving its show hours to a Tuesday-through-Thursday format that will allow more education programs to be scheduled at the beginning and end of “IPE Week.”

Show hours for the 2012 Expo in Atlanta will be:
• Tuesday, Jan. 24:  12-5 p.m.
• Wednesday, Jan. 25:  9-5 p.m.
• Thursday, Jan. 26:  9-3 p.m.

A tentative schedule of conferences for 2012 is in the works, the group said. “IPE Week gives us an opportunity to provide additional education programs, something we have not been able to do in the past,” said John Starkey, president of the association.

The Poultry Expo will again be held in conjunction with the International Feed Expo. The show represents all segments of the industry, including feed milling, hatchery, live production, processing, further processing, marketing, and all support activities.

More than 20,000 visitors attended the 2011 Expo. More information on the 2012 event can be found at www.ipeweek12.org.
