10 Hr. Animal Waste Operators Certification Training

A waste management plan and waste application system are vital parts of an animal operation. To become a certified operator, one must complete an approved training course on the operation of animal waste management systems, pass the exam, and pay the required fees. There will be a training class on April 19 and 20, 2011 at the Bladen County Extension Center starting at 10 am. Call (910) 862-4591 to register by April 15th. There is a cost for the class and manual. The 2011 exam dates are June 9, September 8, and November 10.
