ServSafe - A Practical Approach to Food Safety

North Carolina Cooperative Extension and the Lee County Environmental Health Department will be sponsoring ServSafe, Serving Safe Food seminar April 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, 2011. Food service employees will be trained, tested and certified in critical food safety practices and will be offered techniques for implementing effective food safety training in their own operations. Participation in the seminar is recommended for food service managers and the supervisory staff in restaurants, hospitals, schools, nursing homes and other food service establishments. Classes will be held from 2:30pm to 5:30pm each day.
