The women’s caucus of the General Assembly has been collecting money for tornado victims. Rep. Becky Carney, a Democrat from Charlotte, says  they’ve taken in more than $2,000 from fellow lawmakers.
But she announced a much bigger gift today: House of Raeford Farms poultry processors is donating more than 6,200 pounds of turkey burgers and chicken wings.
