North Carolina retains one of the country's highest unemployment rates, and the state is in play for the 2012 presidential election.

With that in mind, President Barack Obama will return to North Carolina in two weeks, when he is scheduled to visit the Triangle for a discussion about how the government can promote economic growth in the private sector.
