Mexico tries to prevent migrant abuse

The Mexican government has passed a law to try and limit the exploitation and abuse of migrants who pass through the country.

Every year, hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants, mainly from central American countries such as Guatemala and El Salvador, travel through Mexico to try and pass undetected into the United States.
