New health center to aid migrant farm workers

A new community health center in Elm City aimed toward serving a large migrant farm worker population opened its doors Monday.

Funded in part by a $1.4 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Harvest Family Health Center is the third community health center to be built by Carolina Family Health Centers in the past six years.
