Henderson County hires first agri-boss

Citing his extensive industry expertise, experience in local government and the strong relationships he’s formed with key people, Henderson County commissioners Monday approved the appointment of Mark Williams as the county’s first agri-business executive director.

Williams, CFO and food safety coordinator for Flavor First Growers and Packers and a former county commissioner and vice chairman of the board, was recommended by the 11-member Agri-Business Development Board appointed by commissioners this spring.
