Consumers worldwide are changing their diet because of the rising cost of food, according to the results of a global opinion poll released by Oxfam as part of its GROW campaign.

The independent poll conducted in 17 countries around the world found that pizza is the most popular food in the United States, with 15 percent of Americans listing it as their favorite, followed by steak, chicken and Mexican food.

It also found that almost three-quarters of Americans cite the rising cost of food as their biggest food concern.
