USA Poultry & Egg Export Council (USAPEEC) elected Thierry Murad, global product manager-poultry at AJC International, as chairman of its eight-member executive committee for 2011-12. Other members include:
• Duane Rhodes, senior vice president of international sales at Tyson Foods — first vice chairman
• Chaz Wilson, vice president at Grove Services — second vice chairman
• Jim Hoben, vice president-poultry at Interra International — secretary-treasurer
• Mike Little, international sales manager at Mountaire Farms — chairman of marketing committee
• Joel Coleman, vice president and general manager of international sales at Butterball LLC
• Charles von der Heyde, senior vice president of commodity risk management at Pilgrim’s Pride
• Herbie Hoover (manager of export sales at Sanderson Farms

Murad succeeds outgoing chairman Coleman. He was elected at USAPEEC’s 22ndannual meeting at the Greenbrier last Friday.
