CFC employees and board donate over $1,250 and 800 lbs of food to local food bank

CFC employees and Board members recently collected and donated over $1,250 and 800 lbs of food to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC. The food drive is in conjunction with the NC Co-Op Council's Early Harvest food drive which encourages cooperatives throughout NC to hold food drives that benefit their local food banks. Donations were collected at our annual Employee Appreciation Day at Tanglewood Park.
CFC will be holding food drives at all 36 service centers through July and August with donations going to local food banks. Drop off non-perishable food items or monetary donations (checks only) at your local service center.
