The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has delayed implementation of its donning and doffing rule until July 17. The announcement follows a request by the National Chicken Council, which had asked for an extension in light of reports that FSIS inspection program personnel were inconsistent in their interpretations of the rule.
