It is hard to believe, but the 2011 hurricane season is here. Dr. William Gray, noted hurricane specialist, and his colleagues are predicting an above average hurricane season again this year. The predictions, as of April 2011, call for 16 named storms, 9 hurricanes and 5 major hurricanes.
