Local fruit growers have brought their concerns about the increasing difficulty they face in getting seasonal workers to Washington, where they met for two hours with a high-ranking Department of Labor official at a meeting hosted by Rep. Louise Slaughter, D-Fairport.

Slaughter, Rep. Kathy Hochul, D-Snyder, and DOL Deputy Secretary Seth Harris met Thursday with fruit growers from across upstate New York.
