Extreme heat has Sampson poultry, swine farmers sweating

With temperatures pushing upwards of 100 degrees, Sampson County poultry and swine producers are being forced to seek ways to keep their livestock cool. Last week in Johnston County about 50,000 chickens died at a farm after the power went off for less than an hour.
