Paul Coble, chairman of the Wake County commissioners and a former Raleigh mayor, announced Wednesday that he would be a candidate for the 13th Congressional District seat now held by Democrat Brad Miller. Coble said he would run on his record as a fiscal conservative and on his desire to see the nation's economy put on a better path.
