Republicans hopeful that 2010 momentum will carry over

As a percentage, Republicans statewide did a better job of turning out on Election Day last year than Democrats, an analysis of voter records shows.
Across North Carolina, 50.2 percent of registered Republicans voted in November, compared with 44.4 percent of the state's registered Democrats.
