Virginia quarantines movement of walnut Trees

An important tree disease that is typically found in the Western states has now been detected in Virginia. On July 21 the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services placed a temporary quarantine on walnut trees and related products in Chesterfield and Henrico counties and the City of Richmond after Thousand Cankers Disease was found in the counties.
