Two weeks from now, Lenoir County residents will have an opportunity to visit with and hear from the speaker of the N.C. House of Representatives. House Speaker Thom Tillis, R-Mecklenburg, will visit Kinston on Aug. 18 for a “Dutch lunch” at King’s Restaurant, followed by a town hall forum. The event is part of a statewide tour Tillis is taking this month.
