Dry times still stunt North Carolina crops

At Jeffery Lee's farm near Benson, the cotton is half as tall as it should be this time of year, tobacco leaves are drying up, and sweet potatoes are thirsty. Like those at other farms across much of the state, Lee's crops have fallen victim to the drought and heat.
