North Carolina is among the most evenly divided states in the country when it comes to the Democratic/Republican divide, according to a new survey by Gallup. The Tar Heel State ranks as the 24th most Democratic state in the country, essentially tied with Iowa, New Mexico and Oregon, according to Gallup.
