Coming to a state that has lost thousands of manufacturing and textile jobs to other countries because of free-trade agreements to argue for yet another one sounds a bit foolhardy. But Gabriel Silva, the Colombian ambassador to the United States, sees the proposed agreement between his country and the United States as a smart move for North Carolina.
