N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission public hearings

The public will have a chance to discuss proposals for the 2012-13 season at public hearings across the state.

N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission public hearings begin at 7 p.m. Following are dates and locations:
District 8: Sept. 13 at the Municipal Auditorium in Morganton.
District 9: Sept. 14 at Haywood Community College in Clyde.
Statewide: Sept. 28 at the Centennial Campus Auditorium in Raleigh.
The purpose of the Raleigh public hearing is to receive comments on proposed changes to Falconry Permitting Rules only.
