The N.C. Board of Agriculture will hold an emergency meeting at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, to discuss disaster relief for farmers.

The meeting will take place at the Hunt Horse Complex at the State Fairgrounds and is open to the public.
The board will review recommendations for agricultural disaster relief that Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler intends to present to the General Assembly when it reconvenes Sept. 12.
