USDA buys chicken parts from N.C. company

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) today purchased
approximately 62,130,000 pounds of broiler chicken parts at an approximate cost of $35,902,400.00 for
domestic food nutrition assistance programs. Awards were made to 6 of the 10 companies that submitted
proposals as follows:
