The Telamon Corporation is offering to assist with repairs for damages that occurred to migrant housing during Hurricane Irene.  Funding is limited, so apply as soon as possible.

Interested farmers need to contact Dennis A. Harris, Telamon Housing Director,  who will make an on-site visit to complete the application. He will be looking at the housing and type of repairs needed. At that point he will work up a cost estimate for the repairs.

Once the repairs have been completed, Mr. Harris will return to the farm and review the repairs to ensure the work has been completed in an acceptable manner in accordance with N.C. Department of Labor Regulations and get a copy of the invoices for his records. Once this is completed he will forward a check to the farmer using the 1 to 1 match ratio, up to a total of $7,500.
