A Chinese furniture manufacturer with expanding Triad roots has solved a logistical and consumer challenge by choosing a domestic outsourcing option for a high-end upholstery line. Schnadig International Corp. said Friday that Key City Furniture Co. of Wilkesboro will begin producing two full-upholstery lines of its Lauren Ralph Lauren upholstery line in December. Full upholstery signifies the entire furniture frame is covered.
