With assistance from U.S. Rep. Brad Miller, several Raleigh area business leaders will attend a White House Business Council roundtable discussion on Thursday in Washington, D.C. This is an opportunity for North Carolina Business and Institutional Leaders to speak with White House officials and suggest a variety of constructive ideas and solutions to some of the challenges businesses face today.  Congressman Miller has invited Antoinette Taylor, President & CEO at JASZ Technology, Inc.;  David Chapin, CEO & Chief Strategist at Forma Life Science Marketing; Sig Hutchison, President at Sig Hutchison and Associates; Tim Minton, Executive Vice President at Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County; Ralph Thompson, CEO at Holocene Energy; Wayne Branch, CEO at LSG Raleigh; Bob Judd, Executive Director at 3 Phoenix; Roland Gammon, President at White Oak Properties and Greg Hatem, CEO at Empire Properties to participate in the roundtable discussion.

“Some of these business leaders are in emerging industries and some are in very traditional industries. We need both to get our economy back on its feet.” Rep. Miller said. “They know how to create jobs because they’ve done it.”

The roundtables provide business leaders an opportunity to share their concerns and ideas with the Administration and to learn about the resources and programs the Administration offers to help them compete in a global economy.
