In a continuing effort to assist victims of Hurricane Irene, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has extended its stay in Hertford County. FEMA will continue to operate its Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Winton through 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1.
