Gov. Perdue's Statement on the Death of Sen. Jim Forrester

 RALEIGH - Gov. Bev Perdue today issued the following statement regarding the death of Sen. Jim Forrester:

"Jim Forrester spent much of his life serving his nation and, for more than two decades, serving the people of North Carolina as a state senator. Bob and I extend our deepest sympathies to his family and the hope that they are comforted by many precious memories."
