Cuccinelli, EPA to square off over coal plant rules

A House committee will become the latest battleground over upcoming Environmental Protection Agency air toxics rules for coal-fired power plants — and maybe other topics, too. The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will host two witnesses for a Tuesday hearing on EPA’s maximum achievable control technology (MACT) rules: EPA Deputy Administrator Robert Perciasepe and Republican Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.
