State Farmers Market hosts Colossal Collard Day Friday, Nov. 4

Fresh N.C. collards, crisp hushpuppies and spicy chow-chows are all part of Colossal Collard Day at the State Farmers Market. Visitors can enjoy free collard samples prepared by the State Farmers Market Restaurant along with a variety of chow-chows and pickled relishes from Market Shoppes vendors. Locally produced collards also will be available for purchase from area farmers.

Colossal Collard Day is one of several special events planned for the State Farmers Market in November and December. Additional upcoming events include the Fall Craft Fair, Nov. 11-13, and the Week of Giving, Dec. 4-10.
