Lenoir County livestock producers have a hard deadline of Jan. 30, 2012, to submit applications for federal assistance to cover any livestock or grazing losses sustained during the 2011 crop year.

“It is critical that Lenoir County producers meet the Jan. 30 deadline for disaster assistance,” Emmett Rogers, executive director of the USDA’s Lenoir County Farm Service Agency, stated in a USDA/FSA news release.
