The American Meat Institute Foundation (AMIF) has unveiled a revamped and redesigned website aimed at the scientific community, policymakers and media as a user-friendly source of meat and poultry science information.

The site also will prominently feature information about research funding opportunities and findings.

The improved site includes a new foundation blog, which will serve as a forum for discussion about meat and poultry science, animal science and emerging food safety and nutrition issues. The site also includes an RSS news feed that will be updated frequently with the most recent scientific news, information and research and education opportunities. This information, along with links to the most recent blog posts, will also be available on the foundation’s new companion Facebook page.

“The AMI Foundation’s goal is to be both a leader and a resource in the world of science and research,” said AMIF President James H. Hodges in a news release. “The new site’s improved navigation and ease of use will enhance our ability to fulfill our mission.”
