Registered Democrats who are suing over redistricting plans will not appeal a three-judge panel's decision to stick with the established election schedule. The chance of a Supreme Court decision in their favor was slim. Republican legislators were sure after the judges' decision Friday that the primaries would go on as scheduled May 8.
