Dear Friend,

Documentaries that expose the truth about meat production andfactory farmingare often hard to watch. But"Vegucated"makes it easy.

"Vegucated" follows three meat-loving New Yorkers as they go vegan for six weeks. While their eyes are opened to the often cruel practices behind their favorite foods, they also learn how enjoyable ahumane dietcan be.

One of the most affecting moments of the film is when the group visits a factory farm, coming face to face with some of the harshest forms of animal cruelty. This is balanced by their visit to a farm animal sanctuary, where they see these creatures living as they are meant to -- roaming through fields, grazing on grass, and spreading their wings.

The film's approachable take on a timely subject made it a finalist for The Humane Society of the United States'2011 Animal Content in Entertainment (ACE) Documentary Grant. "Vegucated" manages to entertain while enlightening us about the food we eat and the animals we raise.

Experience "Vegucated" for yourself and help us support this eye-opening film:find a screening near you, watch the film digitally, orbuy your DVD copytoday.

Thank you for all your efforts on behalf of animals,
